Data we collect

KodiSap collects your phone number, National ID, and the tenancy details provided by your landlord. This information is used only to facilitate rent collection and to send you payment notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your M‑Pesa PIN

Your M‑Pesa PIN is never transmitted to or stored by KodiSap. Payment authorization happens directly between your device and Safaricom's M‑Pesa service. KodiSap only receives a transaction confirmation once a payment is complete.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and its associated data by contacting your landlord or emailing [email protected]. We fulfill deletion requests within 7 business days, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

• Delete your account at any time, in the app or by email.
• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.

Data storage and security

Tenancy and payment records are stored to provide the service and to meet legal record-keeping requirements. Financial records may be retained as required by law, even after an account is deleted. We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as KodiSap grows. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
